In addition to being a TV news journalist, Jenny has also been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for the past 14 years. She is certified through the American Council on Exercise and has taught everything from Spinning to Zumba to Boot Camp to Water Fitness.

She has worked as an instructor and trainer at locations in Idaho, Washington, Arizona and Indiana, including the prestigious Miraval Resort in Catalina, Arizona. Jenny launched “Anchondo Fitness”, an at-home and online fitness business in 2010.

Over the years, she’s blended her passions for journalism, television and fitness in several capacities, writing fitness articles and giving fitness and health presentations to groups all over the country. She was the creator and host of the Indiana Pacers basketball team’s online fitness videos for the “Get Pacers Fit” program and was the host and producer of the online workout program “At Home with Jenny Anchondo.”

As someone who works crazy hours in her television job, Jenny loves to give practical fitness solutions to busy people who want to stay healthy but don’t want to obsess over it. She specializes in at-home fitness routines using household items that are readily available. She truly believes you don’t need a gym or a lot of time, you just have to have a desire to be the best version of you!
